Mama Kelce’s Cookies

This Super Bowl is the first one where two brothers are playing one another on opposite teams. Eagles center Jason Kelce is going against his brother Travis who is the tight end for the Chiefs. Their mom Donna has already seen both of them win a championship, but only one can take this one. Mama Kelce recently made headlines when bringing both her sons a container of chocolate chip cookies for Super Bowl media night. NBC Sports asked her about it and she shared the recipe.

"It’s just a basic chocolate chip recipe, brown sugar and flour — I use both cake flour and regular flour, one cup of each. I take the butter and melt it in the microwave, and that just makes the cookies creamier. One thing that I do is I have white chocolate and milk chocolate chips, and I also put in a little bit of cinnamon. That’s really the only changes that I do to a cookie recipe. And I let the dough sit overnight in the refrigerator so all the flavors mesh in together. That’s about it."

Eagles fans of age might want a special drink to enjoy with the game. How about this co*cktail made primarily with vodka that comes out in a shade of green. It’s the perfect drink to sip on as the Eagles battle it out for four quarters.
Mix Together

  • 1.5 oz. raspberry vodka
  • .5 oz.Blue Curacao
  • splashof orange juice
  • splashof pineapple juice
  • splashof lemon juice

Happy baking, frying, or whatever! We can’t wait to see some of those game-day spreads.
