2007 -The Beginning
Hired in the early Spring, Brandon Padgett from the University of Dayton becomes head coach for the women with plans to initiate a men’s program for the 2009 season.
February 13, 2009 - The First Win
Kennesaw State defeats Alabama A&M 7-0 to secure the first win in program history.
March 29, 2009 - The First Conference Win
The Owls pick up a 6-1 victory over FGCU for its first ASUN Conference win.
January 2, 2014 - Menhoffer Makes History
Tobi Menhoffer becomes the first player in program history to earn a national ranking. He is ranked 121st after picking up several wins at the ITA Southeast Regionals during the fall of 2013. More Info
September 2, 2015 - Pritchard Gets Ranked
Simon Pritchard is ranked 100th in singles in the ITA Rankings. This was the highest ranking to that point for a player in singles in school history.
April 24 - The Initial ASUN Tournament Win
Sixth-seeded KSU downs No. 3 Stetson 4-3 in come-from-behind fashion in the first round of the ASUN Tournament. Sam Slade's three-set win clinched KSU's victory and earned the Owls a spot in the semifinals. More info

June 9, 2016 - Pritchard Named ASUN Male Student-Athlete of the Year
Simon Pritchard's strong season on the court and in the classroom earns him the ASUN Male Student-Athlete of the Year honor. More info.
June 16, 2017 - Pritchard Named First Team All-Conference For Fourth Time
Simon Pritchard became just the 11th player in ASUN history to collect four consecutive First Team All-Conference awards. Pritchard finished his storied career as the program's all-time leader in doubles and in singles. He also was the ASUN Men's Tennis Scholar Athlete of the Year three times. More Info

July 16, 2018 - Matt Emery Named Director of Tennis
Director of Athletics Milton Overton names Matt Emery, former University of Kentucky assistant coach, as Director of Tennis. Emery spent six years in Lexington as the Wildcat's men's tennis assistant coach before coming to the Black and Gold. More info
March 19, 2019 - Calvo Barcelo Sets the Singles Wins Records
Fermin Calvo Barcelo picked up a 7-6, 6-2 win over Jacksonville State to secure his 62nd career singles win. That win moved him to No. 1 in program history. He closed his career with 66 wins.

April 8, 2021 - Highest Team Ranking in Program History
The Owls came in at No. 74 in the Oracle ITA Division I Men's Team Rankings after a pair of wins on the road at FGCU and at UNF. KSU picked up a victory over Old Dominion on March 4 who was receiving votes at the time as well.
January 14, 2021 - Victory No. 100
Kennesaw State won the doubles point and five singles matches on the way to a 6-1 victory over Wofford in the season opener. The victory was KSU"s 100th in program history. More info

February 10, 2022 - Terry Earns ITA Singles Ranking
Matt Terry ranked a No. 117 spot in the ITA Singles Rankings. The senior posted a 7-3 record in the fall and a 3-0 start to his spring.
April 14, 2022 -KSU Men Win ASUN Regular Season Title
KSU defeats North Alabama 7-0 to clinch a share of its first ASUN regular season title. KSU finishes the regular season with a 7-1 record in conference play.

2022 Season -The Winningest Season
The 2022 season saw the Owls’ men set the school record for most wins in a season (15), road wins (eight) and conference wins (seven). KSU knocked off UNC Asheville, Furman and Liberty for the first time in program history. Kennesaw State earned national ranks three times during the season and finished the year ranked No. 75.
April 21, 2022 - ASUN Coach of the Year
Matt Emery is named ASUN Men's Coach of the Year after leading his team to a program-best 15-6 record and a share of the ASUN Regular Season title.
Nov. 16, 2022 - Raul Garcia Earns ITA Singles Ranking
Raul Garcia was ranked No. 98 in singles as announced by the NCAA Division I Men's ITA Collegiate Tennis National Rankings. His ranking is the highest for an individual player in KSU history. Garcia posted an 8-3 record during the fall and opened the fall with a trio of wins at the UCF Fall Sizzler securing the championship in his flight. He defeated Sam Bossem of Penn State 6-2, 6-3 in the round of 256 and would return to the court later in the afternoon and defeat No. 94 JC Roddick of Texas A&M 6-2, 6-3 at the ITA All-American Championships. The Bolivian native earned a pair of consolation wins over players from Miami and Georgia at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships. The junior's final win of the fall came at the Mercer Fall Classic.

Feb. 2-3, 2023 - Garcia Plays in Davis Cup For Bolivia
Raul Garcia plays for Bolivia in the first round of the Davis Cup World Cup.
Apr. 8, 2023 - Emery Makes History
KSU defeats Eastern Kentucky 7-0. The win gives Matt Emery his 48th win as men's head coach, the most in program history.
Oct. 16, 2023 - Garcia Shines at ITA Southeast Regionals
Raul and Harvey Conway defeated No. 1 Seed Aidan Kim/ Tanapatt Nirundorn of Florida 8-7 (7-5) in the doubles round of 32. Garcia picked up a pair of wins in the singles main draw. He picked up a 6-3, 6-4 win over Martin Havilcek of Florida Atlantic and a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Krish Arora of Georgia Tech. He would fall in the round of 16.

April 12, 2024 - Ranked Again as a Team
Kennesaw State is ranked again for the third consecutive season this time at No. 73 in the ITA Team Rankings.
April 14, 2024 - The Final ASUN Victory
Kennesaw State downs Eastern Kentucky by a score of 5-2 to secure its final ASUN Conference win on the last day of the regular season.

Raul Garcia picks up his 70th career singles win in his final match in an Owl uniform. That win moves him to No. 1 in program history.
