Here at Texas Tech University, my experience has been overall decent. The staff is always willing to help and the professors are passionate about what they teach. You walk around campus and you’ll see so many happy faces. Lubbock county is also great with many places to eat and shop. It’s great for people who from the city or small towns who want less noise and more adventures to go on. The tow people are nice and love Texas tech and take so much pride in the school. Tech does an annual light show every Christmas and offers light shows, music, and overall a happy environment. Here at Texas tech, you learn to love what you chose to do. You grow more passionate and caring about the career path you want to take. The professors offer help and advice to you. They try their best to guide you and make you try your best.

During my first year of college, at first I was very timid due to the fact that I was all on my own since move in day. Texas Tech University and the people who contribute to the shaping of this university wasted no time in making me feel comfortable and welcome here. The events, the booths, the groups joining one another, the random yelling across the street to other students, everywhere I look I always get the same feeling; I am really in college and it really is how its shown on TV. This school has played a major role in allowing myself to find MYSELF, regardless of how little time I have spent at Texas Tech University.
