Angela Gutierrez appeared in season 7, episode 15 of My 600-lb Life, titled Angela's Story.
"Angela doesn't know what to do when her family is unable to accompany her," the episode's description states.
According to Screen Rant, she had weight loss surgery prior to her appearance on the TV show and "decided she needed to lose weight when she got to just over 600 pounds" and "felt this would be her last chance."
The outlet continued, "With such determination and understanding of the severity of the situation, a thrilling and successful weight-loss journey was expected."

Although she moved from Ohio to Houston, Texas with help from her ex-boyfriend, she "couldn't commit to the weight-loss program," per the outlet.
According to her obituary, Angela was born in Cincinnati on December 21, 1973.
She "was a supporter of RAMM and would help anyone she could in any way that she was able," and was also "the best Nana in the world and loved her grandbabies and her cat, 'Trouble.'"
